Paolo Loffredo, sixth generation of a large family of publishers and booksellers engaged in the production and distribution of books since the late nineteenth century, creates in 2012 the new editorial company Paolo Loffredo Editore. The historical site was until the '80s in the heart of the historic centre of Naples in Via San Biagio dei Librai, lower Decumano and also known as the SpaccaNapoli.
At the beginning of the twentieth century, Giuseppe Loffredo decided to add book selling to the book production, which definitively imposed itself after World War II with the publication of manuals for the University and for the School that succeeded in establishing themselves soon throughout Italy.

Rinaldo Rinaldi was born in Turin in 1951 and taught Italian language and literature from 1978 to 1994 at Rijksuniversiteit of Groningen (Nethedlands). Since 1995 he is ordinary professor of Italian literature at University of Parma. He leads the web magazine “Parole rubate. Rivista internazionale di studi sulla citazione / Purloined Letters. An International Journal of Quotation Studies” (www.parolerubate.unipr.it). He studied the Humanism and Reinassance Italian literature, and the literature between XVIII and XX centuries. Moreover, he focused on Leon Battista Alberti, Niccolò Machiavelli, Vittorio Imbriani, Filippo Tommaso Marinetti, Carlo Emilio Gadda, Pier Paolo Pasolini, Georges Perec, treating themes as the mountain landscape and its quotes, mainly focusing on english and french literature.
