Paolo Loffredo, sixth generation of a large family of publishers and booksellers engaged in the production and distribution of books since the late nineteenth century, creates in 2012 the new editorial company Paolo Loffredo Editore. The historical site was until the '80s in the heart of the historic centre of Naples in Via San Biagio dei Librai, lower Decumano and also known as the SpaccaNapoli.
At the beginning of the twentieth century, Giuseppe Loffredo decided to add book selling to the book production, which definitively imposed itself after World War II with the publication of manuals for the University and for the School that succeeded in establishing themselves soon throughout Italy.

Description
La salute dello straniero tra culture, disuguaglianze e linee d’intervento
The ambivalence of the foreigner's thought is vivid in every action he performs in the society of arrival and is reflected, for the aspects that we want to consider here, also on matters concerning his health; the latter, in fact, must be understood as a product, on the one hand, of previous ideas of the body, of illness, of care, relating to the symbolic universe of belonging and, on the other hand, of ideas acquired in the care settings and assistance from the immigration company. The text highlights how a reflection on the health of the foreigner must necessarily go beyond the question of supposed "cultural" differences and the idea of "medically" health, undertaking a reflection on the main factors that, along the whole path of insertion and integration in the host country, affect the ability and the ability of the migrant to take care of themselves and their health.
