Una memoria inventata
Luoghi e voci nella scrittura di Lalla Romano

Review by oblio 46 XII, dicembre 2022

The volume aims to propose a new interpretation of Lalla Romano’s works, carried on through the significant mnesic traces in her production and thanks to the transcription of memories and familiar places, using an ekphrastic procedure which, in the subsequent “novels of figures”, publishing true photo texts. Considering Romano’s experience as well, the main themes of the book move around the familiar system of the characters, environment descriptions, dreams, illness and its cure.
