Paolo Loffredo, sixth generation of a large family of publishers and booksellers engaged in the production and distribution of books since the late nineteenth century, creates in 2012 the new editorial company Paolo Loffredo Editore. The historical site was until the '80s in the heart of the historic centre of Naples in Via San Biagio dei Librai, lower Decumano and also known as the SpaccaNapoli.
At the beginning of the twentieth century, Giuseppe Loffredo decided to add book selling to the book production, which definitively imposed itself after World War II with the publication of manuals for the University and for the School that succeeded in establishing themselves soon throughout Italy.

The I-LanD Journal has been included by the ANVUR (the Italian National Agency for the Evaluation of the University and Research Systems) in the Italian Register for Scientific Journals (with retrospective approval since 2017).
The I-LanD Journal reflects a commitment to publishing original and high quality research addressing issues of identity, language and diversity from a new critical and theoretical perspective.
Officially framed within the I-LanD Interuniversity Research Centre, based at the University of Naples “L’Orientale” (http://www.unior.it/ate…/14038/1/i-land-research-centre.html), the Journal greatly benefits from the competence and highly interdisciplinary expertise of the Centre’s scholars. In fulfillment of its mission, the Identity, Language and Diversity Journal provides an outlet for publication to international practitioners, with a view to disseminating and enhancing scholarly studies on the relation between language and ethnic/cultural identity, language and sexual identity/gender, as well as on forms of language variation derived from instances of contamination/hybridization of different genres, discursive practices and text types.
The I-LanD Journal has been recently included in the Norwegian Register for Scientific Journals, Series and Publishers by The National Board of Scholarly Publishing and Norwegian Centre for Research Data operating on behalf of the Norwegian Ministry of Education and Research
