Paolo Loffredo, sixth generation of a large family of publishers and booksellers engaged in the production and distribution of books since the late nineteenth century, creates in 2012 the new editorial company Paolo Loffredo Editore. The historical site was until the '80s in the heart of the historic centre of Naples in Via San Biagio dei Librai, lower Decumano and also known as the SpaccaNapoli.
At the beginning of the twentieth century, Giuseppe Loffredo decided to add book selling to the book production, which definitively imposed itself after World War II with the publication of manuals for the University and for the School that succeeded in establishing themselves soon throughout Italy.

This volume is the story of a longtime love for France, which led us to choose French, to come and visit its lands, to prefer its cultural, artistic, literary and human production, to love its passionate bond to human values such as dignity, solidarity, freedom of human beings and citizens.
Most people think that the linguistic identity of France comes from Latin with subsequent influences from German, British, Spanish and Italian cultures. But it keeps being considered neo-latin. No one thought about other contributions, coming from hidden but deep relationships with the italians Sannio and Molise, or with the “sdreusa” (Sdrh-sa) way in which Annibales and his men used to speak.
We think that there have been, and need to be looked for, contribution of Masters (Mstr) and Abbots (Abbas) coming from Molise, who brought to Provence and other parts of Gallia their workforce, ideas and words, having a strong influence upon French culture.
