Carmelo Salemme

Carmelo Salemme is Latin literature professor at University of Calabria. He published monographs about Saffo, Lucrezio, Manilio, Lucano, Valerio Flacco, Marziale, Ammiano Marcellino and Iacopo Sannazzaro, along with exegetic essays about medieval latin bucolic. He mainly focuses on literal representation of reality, the peculiar characteristic of poetry in interpreting the world and the reality.
